2007: Played in all 13 games, totaling 10 tackles ... his individual highlight came in the RedHawks' home-field victory over Syracuse when he sacked the Orange quarterback on the first play of SU's final possession ... he also had a sack in Miami's big win vs. Buffalo ... had 3.5 TFLs for minus 15 yards, one QB hurry and one pass break-up.
HIGH SCHOOL: Totaled 190 tackles and 13 sacks in his final two seasons at Southwest Dekalb ... earned honorable mention honors from the Atlanta Journal Constitution for Class AAAA ... received all-county honors on both offense and defense and was voted as the Best All-Around Player by his teammates ... captain of the football and track teams ... 2007 state champion in the shot put (59 feet) and state runner-up in the discus, leading his team to the AAAA state title ... graduated from high school with a 3.58 GPA ... prep coach was Buck Godfrey.
