Legendary Miami Player and Coach John Pont Passes Away
Considered one of the all-time greats of Miami University football and one of the pillars among the Cradle of Coaches, John Pont---a charter member of Miami University's Athletic Hall of Fame in 1969 and the first athlete in Miami history to have his jersey number retired---passed away on Tuesday, July 1 at the age of 80. |
